MyPoints is a reward website where you earn points by shopping, reading
email, and trying out products. There are many different merchants you can
shop and earn points with on this website. Some of the most prominent
merchants and the points you can earn from them are; Target, 5 to 10
points per dollar, eBay, 2 points per dollar, Barnes and Noble, 10 points per
dollar, and Best Buy, 2 points per dollar. They have over 300 merchants to
shop with, but you don’t earn that much of a discount. Please note that in
our opinion, you can probably save more money on products by shopping
through CashCrate.
A nice feature at MyPoints is that they send you emails about the products
you like and their upcoming sales, and you earn 5 points for every email
letter you read. Five points isn’t much but it can add up. They send about
one or two ads a week. They send you a special card on your birthday that’
s worth 25 points, and you can also earn points by filling out your profile.
Trying out products is another way to earn points. You can earn between
fifty to five thousand points depending on the product. Most of the free
trials aren’t worth that many points though.
You can redeem your points for gift certificates. A ten dollar gift certificate
costs 1,500 points. A twenty-five dollar gift card costs 3,750 points. A gift
card can be used either online or in the store. After you redeem one it will
take 3 to 6 weeks to receive it in the mail.
Ratings range from 5 to 1, 5 being the highest quality and 1 the lowest.
