Review of Treasure Trooper

Treasure Trooper is a fairly new get paid to website, they have only been in business since June 2005. They offer a $3.00 joining bonus and they have 2 levels of referrals. You earn 20% of what your referrals make and 5% of what their referrals make. Once you have earned $20 you will receive a check in the mail. You can also spend your earnings on merchandise or referrals.

There are many ways to earn money with Treasure Trooper. You can sign up to take surveys at different sites, get free trials, and shop online through them.  You can earn $.50 to $1.00 per survey site, $5.00 to $30.00 per free trial, and 0.5% to 10% from shopping. You can also earn pearls, gold, and platinum coins.

These coins can be used at the Trading Hut.  You can trade the coins for various prizes like; gift certificates, an ipod, an Xbox 360, referrals, rubies, Mabutu's secret, treasure map fragment, and journal page.  The ruby, Mabutu's secret, map fragment, and journal page are all used to find hidden gems. We are not sure what the gems are used for since we haven't been able to get one yet, but as soon as we get a gem we will let you know.

For every review we make we rate a site from one to five; one is the poorest score and you shouldn't join, and five is an excellent site and we highly recommend you join them. Our rating of Treasure Trooper is based on:

  • How many free offers we can complete.
  • On average how much we earn per offer.
  • What the minimum amount to receive payment is.
  • How quickly we receive our payment.
  • TreasureTrooper Earned: 1
You can earn some money by signing up for their offers, and it is pretty easy to reach the payout limit if you are an active member. Plus with all the hidden gems and treasures, this site can be thought of as a fun game.  We have heard some bad things about Treasure Trooper, like they don't pay as much for offers as other sites, which is true. You can earn more money at Inboxdollars for the same offers. This is why we gave Treasure Trooper a 3, because although they do have some good offers many other sites offer a better payout.

    November 4th 2009 Update:
Well I just found out my account was terminated, and I haven't gotten a response on why. This is very disappointing because I was a member for over 2 years although I had a modest downline, and I only averaged about $30/month with Treasure Trooper they were a paying site.

Since I didn't violate any of their membership rules and haven't received a reply for why I lost my account I have to say Treasure Trooper is now a scam and I don't recommend joining them.
